On the 28th of October, 2008,
Luna played Conditional Drawings with Berlin designers

Dynamic Manifestos is based on Jonathans drawing game and is something in between a fantasy trip and a visual discussion. I played it on four different nights in the studio of B.A.S. in Berlin with different designers that I invited.

The goal is to experience what kind of thoughts get generated through the tight limitations of the instructions. They stimulate absurd and radical statements influenced by mentalities from the field of art and design, Berlin and Holland.

The scene from Amsterdam, where we meet each Tuesday at my kitchen table, is re-enacted in Berlin:

Four players sit around the table. On the computer monitor one can read four instructions, different
for each player. The four instructions come from four categories: what medium to use, what element to add, how to treat it and what kind of relations to draw. In each round the instructions are randomly assembled.

One round lasts three minutes.

The stopwatch is running.

Dynamic Manifesto instructions:

Except for the 'elements' the instructions stayed mostly the same on all evenings.
